So the powdered sugar helps to reduce the swelling by drawing out the excess water in the tissue. This doesn’t completely reduce the swelling but it helps a lot. Once the swelling had gone down a little bit we had to cut the sheath about half an inch and pull it back around the penis, then we placed a purse string suture around the tip of the sheath so that it could heal back to normal. LOL its interesting thats why!!!! :)
