Can people please get over this damn stereotype with pit bulls?! I’m really tired of ignorant people making comments about how breeding has screwed their attitudes up and they are terrible dogs. I work at the humane society and see these dogs everyday, some come in in the worst conditions and they still want to come and sit in your lap and just get loved on. Attitudes are based on their environments, owners mess up the dogs they aren’t born bad dogs. They are the most loving dogs I have ever met, a long time ago they used to be nannies for peoples kids for goodness sake!!!! Lets just go on record by saying the dog I’ve gotten bit by the most in my job has been little ass chihuahuas and pomeranians, not the 75lb cropped eared pit bull with scars from fighting!!! Just really don’t understand why racism against people is socially unacceptable but completely discriminating against a breed of dog is completely acceptable to some people! It’s disgusting. I don’t understand humans sometimes, maybe thats why I do the job I do, who knows….
